Honoring the stark beauty and surprising abundance found in the world's harshest landscapes and the wisdom of cultures that made magic from minimal water and maximum sun.
Introducing Desert Heir - and yes, that's "heir" as in inheritance 🌵 Currently writing this from 115-degree Phoenix and thinking about the incredible culinary wisdom that emerges from extreme conditions. This August, we're celebrating techniques passed down from desert cultures who turned scarcity into abundance. Sticky date & plantain focaccia with mezcal chipotle butter. Chicken marbella with 'nduja brown butter and mitmita caramel. We're heirs to incredible techniques from the Sonoran Southwest, Middle Eastern spice routes, and North African preservation mastery.
